Nereo Cordeiro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Zekeriya Özbekkan. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico ALMA's zone, Barnabé Amice stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Cordeiro came out of the goal and Barnabé Amice tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 20 minutes of play, ÇALIMLI's Barnabé Amice made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nereo Cordeiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 24th minute, Dante Playo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zekeriya Özbekkan's late challenge caught a Atletico ALMA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zekeriya Özbekkan helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquin Atarratze during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
