Barnabé Amice's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yağızalp Akhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to ÇALIMLI getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Atalay Akadlı hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, ÇALIMLI's goal looked a bit too open when Ercan Şerif came free, but Ferhat Uğuş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 minutes North Port UTD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pål Stensson who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Pål Stensson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but North Port UTD's Yağızalp Akhan did a great save. North Port UTD were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after ÇALIMLI's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Karadeniz Uygunel took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ÇALIMLI's goalie and right to Ertuğrul Akyol. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ÇALIMLI's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferid İlican during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, North Port UTD's Ferid İlican got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Barnabé Amice kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, ÇALIMLI's Barnabé Amice sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yağızalp Akhan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ercan Şerif to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of ÇALIMLI booed when North Port UTD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferid İlican didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 played minutes North Port UTD got a freekick which was hit by Ferid İlican. Barnabé Amice recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. North Port UTD's Karadeniz Uygunel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ferhat Uğuş in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Barnabé Amice fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yağızalp Akhan having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Ercan Şerif ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ferhat Uğuş was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ercan Şerif in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ferhat Uğuş, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. North Port UTD were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing ÇALIMLI to leave the ground with a draw.
