Nereo Cordeiro stood somewhat misplaced when Ercan Şerif came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 19 minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Ercan Şerif managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Port UTD's supporters rose to their feet, but Ercan Şerif was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Cordeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the match, North Port UTD's Ercan Şerif sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nereo Cordeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ercan Şerif got free with Nereo Cordeiro in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ercan Şerif in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nereo Cordeiro saved Atletico ALMA from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dante Playo during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Karadeniz Uygunel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Nereo Cordeiro made a huge save. After 36 minutes, Ercan Şerif made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Atletico ALMA's Nereo Cordeiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Roque Montrel fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Nereo Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ercan Şerif in the 45th minute of the match. Deniz Hasanbeyli struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Nereo Cordeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for North Port UTD. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 54 played minutes Atletico ALMA got a freekick which was hit by Dante Playo. After 55 minutes, Deniz Hasanbeyli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the North Port UTD and the Atletico ALMA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes North Port UTD got a freekick which was hit by Deniz Hasanbeyli. Joaquin Jakes was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 61 minutes into the match. Nereo Cordeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Nestor Salbatore fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico ALMA's protests and gave Nestor Salbatore a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, Ercan Şerif got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ercan Şerif in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nereo Cordeiro saved Atletico ALMA from getting behind. A collision led to North Port UTD getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Vatan Akil hit a great ball. The North Port UTD fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when North Port UTD's Vatan Akil looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ercan Şerif sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nereo Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vatan Akil, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
