Jesus Sayveon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elpidio Gonzales went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 28 played minutes Athletico Picapedrense got a freekick which was hit by Geoffrey Dutton. Elpidio Gonzales scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jesus Sayveon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Elpidio Gonzales's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jesus Sayveon was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Hristo Stoichkov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Rodolfo Ricart made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acun Timuroz in the 37th minute of play forced Athletico Picapedrense's goalkeeper Jesus Sayveon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Elpidio Gonzales made the kick off in the second half. TEMPLE F.C.'s Rodolfo Ricart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hristo Stoichkov in the 51st minute of play. Rodolfo Ricart didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hristo Stoichkov went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Athletico Picapedrense's Lorenzo Jubera was substituted for Horaţiu Crăiță. After having played for 63 minutes, Hristo Stoichkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Athletico Picapedrense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hristo Stoichkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eloi Fontanella took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodolfo Ricart. Rodolfo Ricart dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Athletico Picapedrense's Orlondo Aguado was substituted for Hristo Stoichkov. 75 minutes into the match, TEMPLE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Eloi Fontanella came free, but Rodolfo Ricart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute Baskın Nihat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Sayveon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavio Isadore made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Athletico Picapedrense's Coronel Ribas. Jesus Sayveon was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Acun Timuroz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Acun Timuroz really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. In the 95th minute, Acun Timuroz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. TEMPLE F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
