The supporters of New York Red Bulls booed when ÇALIMLI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zekeriya Özbekkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. New York Red Bulls's Eduardo Pereyra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save New York Red Bulls from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute, Barnabé Amice made a precise shot to the right of Eduardo Pereyra. New York Red Bulls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nazım Taci to strike the kick off in the second half. Nazım Taci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ferhat Uğuş made a huge save. ÇALIMLI's Ferhat Uğuş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save ÇALIMLI from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnabé Amice in the 56th minute of play forced New York Red Bulls's goalkeeper Eduardo Pereyra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A very good chance. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by New York Red Bulls's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zekeriya Özbekkan was slow to take the kick. During this time ÇALIMLI's players had a chance to rest. Zülfü Dicle made a great header on ÇALIMLI's corner, it was just that New York Red Bulls's Eduardo Pereyra managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nazım Taci in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferhat Uğuş saved ÇALIMLI from getting behind. After 90 played minutes ÇALIMLI got a freekick which was hit by Zekeriya Özbekkan. Ferhat Uğuş made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Emanuel Encescu sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 93 in the game by Nazım Taci from a close distance when the talented Ferhat Uğuş managed to make a qualified save. ÇALIMLI's players were relieved.
