Göksel Canfeda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulão Jacinto in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in 20 de Março FC's zone, Alp Enginalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renan Schmidt came out of the goal and Alp Enginalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute, Pedro Aparecido made a precise shot to the right of Göksel Canfeda. istanbulls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 29th minute, istanbulls's Alp Enginalp ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Renan Schmidt. Renan Schmidt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 32nd minute Hélio Donatello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göksel Canfeda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Göksel Canfeda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Donatello in the 32nd minute of play. Olaf Pietrasz made a great header on 20 de Março FC's corner, it was just that istanbulls's Göksel Canfeda managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Alp Enginalp got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. istanbulls's Göksel Canfeda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Aparecido in the 40th minute of play. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Pedro Aparecido sped through istanbulls's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Göksel Canfeda. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Senna in the 45th minute of play forced 20 de Março FC's goalkeeper Renan Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélio Donatello charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hélio Donatello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hélio Donatello hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Senna got free with Renan Schmidt in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The istanbulls players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. 20 de Março FC were winning 1-2.

20 de Março FC's 林泉海 was substituted for Pedro Aparecido. The wind increased when Hélio Donatello made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, istanbulls's goal looked a bit too open when Hélio Donatello came free, but Göksel Canfeda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The attack was good, but when Luís Senna in the 69th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Gláuber Cruz took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Göksel Canfeda. Göksel Canfeda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Olaf Pietrasz made a great header on 20 de Março FC's corner, it was just that istanbulls's Göksel Canfeda managed to reach the ball for a save. Renan Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeng Chong Kang, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, 林泉海 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 20 de Março FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4.
