The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jorge Naike kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Jose Frederico was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Valdomiro de Godoi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Jorge Naike hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Timoteo Geleberto kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. With a little luck, Ernestina FC's Jose Frederico got control of the ball when Valdomiro de Godoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Valdomiro de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Romando Futebol Clube's Valdomiro de Godoi in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ernestina FC's goalie prevented a goal. Timoteo Geleberto made in the 27th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Romando Futebol Clube's Joélson de Mendonça. In the 28th minute of the match, Joélson de Mendonça tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jose Frederico saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. André Sundström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jose Frederico having to make a save. When Timoteo Geleberto fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ernestina FC's protests and gave Timoteo Geleberto a yellow card for diving instead. Timoteo Geleberto hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Valdomiro de Godoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jose Frederico having to make a save. Jorge Naike fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Romando Futebol Clube's André Sundström got a free kick in the 38th minute. A collision led to Romando Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Lino Valle hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ernestina FC's zone, Valdomiro de Godoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Frederico came out of the goal and Valdomiro de Godoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valdomiro de Godoi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jose Frederico came out and tried to block the shot, but Valdomiro de Godoi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 46th minute.

The wind increased when Jonathan Modestio made the kick off in the second half. Jose Frederico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdomiro de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Romando Futebol Clube's Niva Bellido was substituted for Valdomiro de Godoi. When Romando Futebol Clube's Niva Bellido in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ernestina FC's goalie prevented a goal. Niva Bellido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jose Frederico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niva Bellido in the 71st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Niva Bellido's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Frederico was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 74th minute, Timoteo Geleberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Ernestina FC defense, Niva Bellido kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jose Frederico. The Ernestina FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Frederico should have stopped the shot. Jose Frederico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niva Bellido in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Niva Bellido ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jose Frederico was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Niva Bellido might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jose Frederico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niva Bellido ran back to his position shaking his head. Ernestina FC's Jose Frederico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niva Bellido in the 85th minute of play. André Sundström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 90 played minutes Ernestina FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Naike. Niva Bellido took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jose Frederico. Jose Frederico dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Romando Futebol Clube fully deserved thier win.
