Clonmels Devils's Joonatan De Vlaeminck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Gonzales in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute Damian Dubiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Ricart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Janusz Wielowiejski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Rodolfo Ricart made a huge save. A collision led to F. C. Clonmels Devils getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Justinas Aleknavičius hit a great ball. Joonatan De Vlaeminck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baskın Nihat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Acun Timuroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joonatan De Vlaeminck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, F. C. Clonmels Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Gonzales came free, but Joonatan De Vlaeminck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, TEMPLE F.C.'s Elpidio Gonzales got a free kick in the 29th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Janusz Wielowiejski got free with Rodolfo Ricart in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Janusz Wielowiejski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Rodolfo Ricart made a huge save. After 40 played minutes F. C. Clonmels Devils got a freekick which was hit by Cezary Wojtowicz. Feliciano Salomon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joonatan De Vlaeminck. F. C. Clonmels Devils's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Şeray Onurhan fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TEMPLE F.C.'s protests and gave Şeray Onurhan a yellow card for diving instead. Rodolfo Ricart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Claus in the 44th minute of play. Joonatan De Vlaeminck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acun Timuroz in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Janusz Wielowiejski to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Baskın Nihat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joonatan De Vlaeminck was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Acun Timuroz in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joonatan De Vlaeminck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the TEMPLE F.C. defense, Gwidon Czeszyk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Ricart. The TEMPLE F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Ricart should have stopped the shot. Elpidio Gonzales recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. TEMPLE F.C. made a substitution. Karl-Magnus Rolandsson replaced Elpidio Gonzales. Acun Timuroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Joonatan De Vlaeminck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Ricart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janusz Wielowiejski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, TEMPLE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Claus came free, but Rodolfo Ricart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
