After 13 minutes of play, Borussia Dortmund's Tomas Levander made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferhat Uğuş was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Grover in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferhat Uğuş prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes into the game, Levent İnanır was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ÇALIMLI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borussia Dortmund the free kick. Levent İnanır kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Ferhat Uğuş didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Grover went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ferhat Uğuş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Grover's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. ÇALIMLI's Ferhat Uğuş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Grover in the 24th minute of play. Ferhat Uğuş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Grover, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zekeriya Özbekkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Yao Zhan Sang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferhat Uğuş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Grover in the 32nd minute of the match. Ferhat Uğuş came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Borussia Dortmund's Baltazar Clavijo. But to his dismay, Baltazar Clavijo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Baltazar Clavijo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borussia Dortmund's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltazar Clavijo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferhat Uğuş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th match minute, ÇALIMLI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barnabé Amice to maneuver through the defense. Ferhat Uğuş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Grover in the 41st minute of play. Zülfü Dicle charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zülfü Dicle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes ÇALIMLI got a freekick which was hit by Zülfü Dicle. Tomas Levander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ferhat Uğuş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferhat Uğuş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Grover, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ÇALIMLI players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Borussia Dortmund were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Grover to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Levander in the 51st minute of play forced ÇALIMLI's goalkeeper Ferhat Uğuş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Levander struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Ferhat Uğuş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Dortmund. Ferhat Uğuş didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Grover went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Ferhat Uğuş made an important save on a dangerous shot by Astor Odol in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltazar Clavijo in the 61st minute of play forced ÇALIMLI's goalkeeper Ferhat Uğuş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, ÇALIMLI's Ferhat Uğuş got control of the ball when Fernando Grover tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Borussia Dortmund's Ferhat Uğuş threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fernando Grover, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 71st minute of the game Yakup Sargut made a throw-in which Tomas Levander played forward. Fernando Grover who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Ferhat Uğuş when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Borussia Dortmund's Fernandez Quintairos was substituted for Tomas Levander. In the last second Ferhat Uğuş throw himself and got hold of the ball when Fernando Grover in the 84thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Borussia Dortmund's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yakup Sargut in the 85th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Baltazar Clavijo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Ferhat Uğuş was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Fernando Grover capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fernando Grover really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. In the 91st minute Fernandez Quintairos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferhat Uğuş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Borussia Dortmund's Fernando Grover slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ferhat Uğuş. That made the score 0-8 after 93 minutes of play.
