CJ Lewandowski took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jesus Sayveon. Jesus Sayveon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a little luck, La Società Sport Osasco's Rubinho Lago got control of the ball when Horaţiu Crăiță tried to sneak it across the goal line. Athletico Picapedrense were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after La Società Sport Osasco's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juanito Gabucio took the corner. A collision led to La Società Sport Osasco getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Paulo Esteves hit a great ball. CJ Lewandowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jesus Sayveon having to make a save. Hristo Stoichkov came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rubinho Lago could save by the left post. 36 minutes into the match, La Società Sport Osasco's goal looked a bit too open when Hristo Stoichkov came free, but Rubinho Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hristo Stoichkov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the match, La Società Sport Osasco's goal looked a bit too open when Eloi Fontanella came free, but Rubinho Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hristo Stoichkov was the one to do the kick off. Rubinho Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hristo Stoichkov in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Hristo Stoichkov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Athletico Picapedrense's Eloi Fontanella got a free kick in the 72nd minute. La Società Sport Osasco's Bruno Quirino was substituted for Chen Jian. The supporters of La Società Sport Osasco booed when Athletico Picapedrense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloi Fontanella didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Athletico Picapedrense's Jesus Sayveon got control of the ball when Bruno Quirino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jesus Sayveon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilvan Maranhense, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, La Società Sport Osasco's goal looked a bit too open when Hristo Stoichkov came free, but Rubinho Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th match minute, Athletico Picapedrense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hristo Stoichkov to maneuver through the defense. Jesus Sayveon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilvan Maranhense in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Athletico Picapedrense's Juanito Gabucio got a free kick in the 92nd minute. If Gilvan Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rubinho Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloi Fontanella in the 95th minute of play. The La Società Sport Osasco players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
