Clonmels Devils fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joonatan De Vlaeminck should have stopped the shot. Silvestre Claus did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Ferhat Uğuş 24 minutes into the match. Janusz Wielowiejski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Ferhat Uğuş made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Janusz Wielowiejski made a kick off. ÇALIMLI's Zekeriya Özbekkan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Thobias Henderickx, made in the 95th minute of the game. After 96 played minutes F. C. Clonmels Devils got a freekick which was hit by Damian Dubiel. Joonatan De Vlaeminck made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Zekeriya Özbekkan sent off a good shot on target.
