La Società Sport Osasco's Rubinho Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Iturri in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute, CJ Lewandowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cirilo Frederico was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in La Società Sport Osasco's zone, Alvaro Gartxot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubinho Lago came out of the goal and Alvaro Gartxot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CJ Lewandowski was extremely unlucky when he, in the 14th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 14 minutes into the game, Ovidio Sugar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kiev FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Società Sport Osasco the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers CJ Lewandowski in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cirilo Frederico saved Kiev FC from getting behind. After 35 minutes La Società Sport Osasco's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Angelino Abeita who took care of the corner kick. 37 minutes into the match, Kiev FC's goal looked a bit too open when CJ Lewandowski came free, but Cirilo Frederico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Kiev FC's Cirilo Frederico got control of the ball when CJ Lewandowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Jonas Vingegaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Cirilo Frederico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of CJ Lewandowski's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Anselmo Iturri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rubinho Lago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Rubinho Lago was a little too slow when Anselmo Iturri got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-1. Cirilo Frederico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilvan Maranhense in the 78th minute of the match. Ladislao Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kiev FC's Rodolfo Burni was substituted for Ladislao Batista. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilvan Maranhense in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cirilo Frederico saved Kiev FC from getting behind. Ted Rijkaard kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. João Andrade's late challenge caught a Kiev FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes La Società Sport Osasco got a freekick which was hit by João Andrade. In the 95th minute, Anselmo Iturri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rubinho Lago was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Kiev FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
