German Paez made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Kaan Kaa sent off a good shot on target. Joonatan De Vlaeminck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Maraman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. German Paez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Janusz Wielowiejski's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Jose Tartalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joonatan De Vlaeminck having to interfere. In the 35th minute Silvestre Claus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Paez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. German Paez was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Janusz Wielowiejski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Janusz Wielowiejski really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 40th match minute, Atletico ALMA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Hernandez to maneuver through the defense. Silvestre Claus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Paez having to interfere. The supporters of Atletico ALMA booed when F. C. Clonmels Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaroslaw Zacharzewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Atilano Burni came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Atletico ALMA fans jumped to their feet. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Astor Gustau to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Janusz Wielowiejski in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck German Paez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 52ndth minute of the game Janusz Wielowiejski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico ALMA's German Paez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Janusz Wielowiejski in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck German Paez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. German Paez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Claus in the 59th minute of the match. F. C. Clonmels Devils's Damian Dubiel got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, F. C. Clonmels Devils's goalkeeper Joonatan De Vlaeminck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Astor Gustau. Joonatan De Vlaeminck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Gustau in the 67th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Janusz Wielowiejski in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg German Paez saved Atletico ALMA from getting behind. German Paez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Claus in the 72nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico ALMA's zone, Janusz Wielowiejski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. German Paez came out of the goal and Janusz Wielowiejski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the game, Silvestre Claus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. German Paez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 91 minutes, Jose Tartalo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico ALMA and the F. C. Clonmels Devils players grew even worse after the yellow card. The F. C. Clonmels Devils fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when F. C. Clonmels Devils's Janusz Wielowiejski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. F. C. Clonmels Devils had played much better football throughout.
