Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when CJ Lewandowski kicked off to start the match. Chen Jian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers CJ Lewandowski in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radu Jilăveanu saved New York Red Bulls from getting behind. Radu Jilăveanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from CJ Lewandowski in the 8th minute of play. Radu Jilăveanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from CJ Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Rubinho Lago was a little too slow when Benni Farbøl got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 12th minute, Berkan Temel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Radu Jilăveanu came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by La Società Sport Osasco's CJ Lewandowski. But to his dismay, CJ Lewandowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. CJ Lewandowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 17th minute CJ Lewandowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Jilăveanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in New York Red Bulls's zone, CJ Lewandowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radu Jilăveanu came out of the goal and CJ Lewandowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, La Società Sport Osasco's goalkeeper Rubinho Lago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berkan Temel. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Berkan Temel in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rubinho Lago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chen Jian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radu Jilăveanu having to make a save. Radu Jilăveanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from CJ Lewandowski in the 27th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, New York Red Bulls's Rubinho Lago threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benni Farbøl, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If CJ Lewandowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. New York Red Bulls's Radu Jilăveanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by CJ Lewandowski in the 34th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, La Società Sport Osasco's CJ Lewandowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radu Jilăveanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. CJ Lewandowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radu Jilăveanu having to make a save. Radu Jilăveanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from CJ Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Rubinho Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nazım Taci in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nazım Taci stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in New York Red Bulls's zone, CJ Lewandowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radu Jilăveanu came out of the goal and CJ Lewandowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of La Società Sport Osasco booed when New York Red Bulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxim Tadici didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radu Jilăveanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from CJ Lewandowski in the 60th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Maxim Tadici threw the ball into play from the sideline. La Società Sport Osasco's Ted Rijkaard quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. La Società Sport Osasco's Rafael Quiroga was substituted for Paredes Malvido. Dudu Moreno hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Rubinho Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benni Farbøl in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, New York Red Bulls's Salih Şahsuvaroğlu got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Maxim Tadici made in the 87th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Berkan Temel. Gilvan Maranhense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Radu Jilăveanu made a huge save. La Società Sport Osasco played a much better game than New York Red Bulls and deserved their victory. The New York Red Bulls players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
