An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Brasil in the 13th minute of play forced Villa Verde FC's goalkeeper Feng Chao Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Erivaldo Borges's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orlando Nogueira was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After some careless play in the AKI CORINTHIANS defense, Saul Goodman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orlando Nogueira. The AKI CORINTHIANS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orlando Nogueira should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind AKI CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Orlando Nogueira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Orlando Nogueira came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Verde FC's Saul Goodman. But to his dismay, Saul Goodman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Saul Goodman might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orlando Nogueira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saul Goodman ran back to his position shaking his head. AKI CORINTHIANS's Orlando Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Goodman in the 35th minute of play. Orlando Nogueira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saul Goodman went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Du Yue Yun kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Saul Goodman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orlando Nogueira having to make a save. Orlando Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Goodman in the 43rd minute of play. If Saul Goodman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 45 minutes into the match, AKI CORINTHIANS's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Goodman came free, but Orlando Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of AKI CORINTHIANS booed when Villa Verde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Goodman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute, the referee gave Villa Verde FC a penalty. Erivaldo Borges looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Orlando Nogueira. A collision led to AKI CORINTHIANS getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Luís Guilherme Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Verde FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Guilherme Cearense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Nogueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Villa Verde FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
