The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. George Buturugã made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Hendrik Ohmer in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, C.A.Esparta's goalkeeper Evelio Salvadore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Özgür Özbay. 19 minutes into the match, C.A.Esparta's goal looked a bit too open when Sulo Montaña came free, but Evelio Salvadore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Özgür Özbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Salvadore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, C.A.Esparta's goal looked a bit too open when Sulo Montaña came free, but Evelio Salvadore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evelio Salvadore was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Sulo Montaña capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sulo Montaña really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Evelio Salvadore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sulo Montaña in the 28th minute of play. Evelio Salvadore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sulo Montaña went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute Sulo Montaña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Salvadore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When LOI's Sulo Montaña in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A.Esparta's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Sulo Montaña managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOI's supporters rose to their feet, but Sulo Montaña was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evelio Salvadore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

LOI made a substitution. Eriberto Segio replaced Kaan Öztanır. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sulo Montaña to make the kick off. George Buturugã made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Hendrik Ohmer in the 56th minute of play. Evelio Salvadore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sulo Montaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. With a little luck, LOI's George Buturugã got control of the ball when Adrian Arotza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fetih Avcu lost his temper 69 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 70 played minutes LOI got a freekick which was hit by Fetih Avcu. C.A.Esparta's Oswaldo Junior was substituted for Sven-Hendrik Ohmer. Fetih Avcu kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. George Buturugã showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswaldo Junior, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Evelio Salvadore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sulo Montaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, LOI's goal looked a bit too open when Oswaldo Junior came free, but George Buturugã reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 played minutes C.A.Esparta got a freekick which was hit by Dércio Valentim. In the 81st minute, C.A.Esparta's Adrian Arotza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind George Buturugã. George Buturugã yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. LOI made a substitution. Kerimhan Cevher replaced Sulo Montaña. Evelio Salvadore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kerimhan Cevher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kerimhan Cevher's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evelio Salvadore read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, C.A.Esparta's Oswaldo Junior nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. George Buturugã made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The C.A.Esparta players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented LOI from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
