The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Rodolfo Atarrabi came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Soroca F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Atarrabi couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sulo Montaña came free, but Vitaliy Vischak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Atarrabi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but George Buturugã made a huge save. Vitaliy Vischak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sulo Montaña in the 20th minute of play. Adrián Espadas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Soroca F.C.'s Vitaliy Vischak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sulo Montaña in the 24th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrián Espadas got free with George Buturugã in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Soroca F.C.'s Vitaliy Vischak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Habib Durukan in the 31st minute of play. After 32 minutes Soroca F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Habib Durukan who took care of the corner kick. LOI were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Soroca F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Habib Durukan took the corner. Vitaliy Vischak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sulo Montaña's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Özgür Özbay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vitaliy Vischak having to make a save. 37 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Özgür Özbay came free, but Vitaliy Vischak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sulo Montaña took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vitaliy Vischak. Vitaliy Vischak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 43 played minutes Soroca F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Iordanis Karatzaferis. Iordanis Karatzaferis kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. LOI's Eriberto Segio was substituted for Kaan Öztanır. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sulo Montaña to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by LOI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gustavo Tartalo was slow to take the kick. During this time Soroca F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. LOI's George Buturugã played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Venceslao in the 55th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Soroca F.C.'s zone, Sulo Montaña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitaliy Vischak came out of the goal and Sulo Montaña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Soroca F.C.'s Godofredo Quilino was substituted for Gustavo Tartalo. Cássio Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sulo Montaña came free, but Vitaliy Vischak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute of the match, Özgür Özbay got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vitaliy Vischak was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 66 minutes of play, LOI's Özgür Özbay made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vitaliy Vischak was left in no man's land by his defense there! George Buturugã showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Quilino in the 69th minute of the match. George Buturugã didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godofredo Quilino went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Amador Venceslao might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over George Buturugã. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amador Venceslao ran back to his position shaking his head. LOI made a substitution. Tayyip Taylan replaced Habib Durukan. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Sulo Montaña took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Vitaliy Vischak to make any attempt to save it. 88 minutes into the match, LOI's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Venceslao came free, but George Buturugã reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Răzvan Necula ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. George Buturugã was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. George Buturugã showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Quilino in the 95th minute of the match. Vitaliy Vischak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kerimhan Cevher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. LOI walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
