Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Los Muchachos del 86 from getting a goal against them. Özgür Özbay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Atahan Balon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sulo Montaña in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atahan Balon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Albino Peruanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atak Koral kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Ricardo-Enrique Bochini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buturugã saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

LOI's Eriberto Segio was substituted for Kaan Öztanır. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. The LOI fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when LOI's Özgür Özbay looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ladislao Constancio charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
