Alcorcón's Erlantz Bermejo got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when A.D. Alcorcón's Belo Alvarez fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 14 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Valerio Spadoni came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena got control of the ball when Ruperto Modestio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruperto Modestio got free with Maurino Serena in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valerio Spadoni in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maurino Serena, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valerio Spadoni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. A.D. Alcorcón made a substitution. Leroy Antunez replaced Belo Alvarez. After 85 played minutes A.D. Alcorcón got a freekick which was hit by Laurin Mangas. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.D. Alcorcón's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cornelio Rius was slow to take the kick. During this time Amboy FC's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to A.D. Alcorcón getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Arcadio Ramiréz hit a great ball. When Cornelio Rius came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Amboy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornelio Rius couldn't finish the play. Amboy FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
