In the 2nd match minute, Karaboudjan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yuri Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. After 4 minutes of play, Relyn Futebol Clube's Felipe Santos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelinho Abraão was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felipe Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelinho Abraão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Felipe Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Relyn Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Karaboudjan's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Santos came free, but Marcelinho Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karaboudjan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Felipe Santos scored to the left of an out of position Marcelinho Abraão, making the score, 2-0. Durval Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Teixeira in the 23rd minute of the match. Karaboudjan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Felipe Santos scored to the left of an out of position Marcelinho Abraão, making the score, 3-0. In the 30th minute, Relyn Futebol Clube's Haroldo Tepedino seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Haroldo Tepedino the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Relyn Futebol Clube protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Haroldo Tepedino had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Karaboudjan booed when Relyn Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Karaboudjan's Rafael Godoi in action when he in the 32nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Durval Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Magno Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelinho Abraão having to interfere. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Karaboudjan! The goalkeeper, Marcelinho Abraão, was totally fooled by Relyn Futebol Clube's Romeo Cangeopol, who 45 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Magno Diniz to strike the kick off in the second half. Luizão Peixoto's late challenge caught a Relyn Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luizão Peixoto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd minute, Luizão Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the game, Téo Rosa threw the ball into play from the sideline. Relyn Futebol Clube's Ademar Meirelles quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 72 minutes into the match, Relyn Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho Albuquerque came free, but Durval Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Durval Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandinho Albuquerque in the 81st minute of play. Fernandinho Albuquerque could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Durval Marinho made a huge save. 90 minutes into the game, Téo Rosa threw the ball into play from the sideline. Relyn Futebol Clube's Ademar Meirelles quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.
