ROSÁRIO SPORT's Luiz Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Messi in the 8th minute of play. Sten Andrejević in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of George Buffon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dean Harvey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th match minute, Three Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunnar Ekeroth to maneuver through the defense. Three Lions FC's George Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Three Lions FC from getting a goal against them. Sten Andrejević could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but George Buffon made a huge save. 31 minutes into the match, ROSÁRIO SPORT's goal looked a bit too open when George Messi came free, but Luiz Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kajetan Filanowski's late challenge caught a ROSÁRIO SPORT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kajetan Filanowski helped the player get up and apologised. Luiz Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Ekeroth, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 40 played minutes ROSÁRIO SPORT got a freekick which was hit by Alf Elg. Sten Andrejević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Andrejević in the 42nd minute of play forced Three Lions FC's goalkeeper George Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunnar Ekeroth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Corrêa having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when George Messi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luiz Corrêa was a little too slow when George Messi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-1. George Messi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by George De Bruyne during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th minute, George De Bruyne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Corrêa made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when George Messi sent off a good shot on target. ROSÁRIO SPORT's Luiz Corrêa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save ROSÁRIO SPORT from getting a goal against them. Kajetan Filanowski kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. ROSÁRIO SPORT's Tony Dionísio was substituted for Nildo da Silveira. After 72 played minutes Three Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Kajetan Filanowski. The supporters of ROSÁRIO SPORT booed when Three Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunnar Ekeroth didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Three Lions FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gunnar Ekeroth hit a great ball. In the 84th minute Sten Andrejević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Three Lions FC's George Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Andrejević in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Basso came free, but George Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 played minutes Three Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Montrell. 95 minutes into the game, ROSÁRIO SPORT's Douglas Basso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. George Buffon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
