The audience thought a goal was coming when Yuri Teixeira got free with Abelardo Maranhense in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelinho Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Oliveira in the 4th minute of the match. The Olivedos fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Olivedos's Cássio Ferraz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Novaes in the 14th minute of play forced Karaboudjan's goalkeeper Marcelinho Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Ferraz in the 15th minute of play forced Karaboudjan's goalkeeper Marcelinho Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cássio Ferraz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelinho Abraão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Donato Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcelinho Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Abelardo Maranhense was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Genílson Maciel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 26 minute of play. Marcelinho Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Ferraz in the 31st minute of the match. After 45 minutes of play, Olivedos's Rômulo Custódio made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelinho Abraão was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Olivedos were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donato Oliveira to make the kick off. Marcelinho Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Oliveira in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Alexander Basarov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Olivedos getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Rômulo Custódio hit a great ball. The supporters of Karaboudjan booed when Olivedos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldinho Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 played minutes, Karaboudjan's Téo Rosa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abelardo Maranhense came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Karaboudjan reached it. After 59 minutes, Donato Oliveira made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Karaboudjan's Marcelinho Abraão tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Teixeira in the 63rd minute of play forced Olivedos's goalkeeper Abelardo Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olivedos's Abelardo Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Teixeira in the 66th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Donato Oliveira could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-4 into the left cross. Cássio Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fernandinho Albuquerque fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karaboudjan's protests and gave Fernandinho Albuquerque a yellow card for diving instead. Fernandinho Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Marcelinho Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abelardo Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Pereira in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute of the match Karaboudjan got a corner. Olivedos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Téo Rosa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Abelardo Maranhense came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Karaboudjan's Fernandinho Albuquerque. But to his dismay, Fernandinho Albuquerque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. 90 minutes into the game, Donato Oliveira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcelinho Abraão. Donato Oliveira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-6. In the 94th minute, Donato Oliveira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcelinho Abraão. The goal made the score 2-7. The Karaboudjan supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Olivedos's performance. The match ended with a win for Olivedos.
