In the 21st minute André Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdomiro de Godoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Santos in the 42nd minute of play. Felipe Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Romando Futebol Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Relyn Futebol Clube were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdomiro de Godoi made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Romando Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdo Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. Romeo Cangeopol hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Romando Futebol Clube made a substitution. Niva Bellido replaced Valdomiro de Godoi.
