With an extended leg and a bit of luck Biagio Furino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paraná Clube Brasil's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juninho Paulista was slow to take the kick. During this time Romando Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. Joélson de Mendonça was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paraná Clube Brasil's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After taking down the ball on Romando Futebol Clube's corner Juninho Paulista fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Biagio Furino quite easily take care of the ball. In the 24th minute, Valdomiro de Godoi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Biagio Furino. The goal made the score 2-0. Pedro Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Paraná Clube Brasil's Biagio Furino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Paraná Clube Brasil from getting a goal against them. When Valdomiro de Godoi came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Romando Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdomiro de Godoi couldn't finish the play. The wind increased when Arlindo Silveira made the kick off in the second half. Valdomiro de Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Biagio Furino having to interfere. 53 minutes in the game Osvaldo Coutinho did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Frederico Pontes. Valdomiro de Godoi struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Biagio Furino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Romando Futebol Clube. Romando Futebol Clube's Niva Bellido was substituted for Valdomiro de Godoi. 60 minutes into the match, Niva Bellido had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Biagio Furino. Paraná Clube Brasil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niva Bellido was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Biagio Furino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niva Bellido's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Paraná Clube Brasil's zone, Niva Bellido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Biagio Furino came out of the goal and Niva Bellido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Biagio Furino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niva Bellido's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Pedro Carvalho hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Biagio Furino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niva Bellido, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the game, Niva Bellido cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Biagio Furino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 79 minutes into the match, Romando Futebol Clube's Niva Bellido sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Biagio Furino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Paraná Clube Brasil defense, Niva Bellido kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Biagio Furino. The Paraná Clube Brasil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Biagio Furino should have stopped the shot. After 86 played minutes Paraná Clube Brasil got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Carvalho. 88 minutes into the match, Paraná Clube Brasil's goal looked a bit too open when Niva Bellido came free, but Biagio Furino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Niva Bellido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Romando Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Paraná Clube Brasil players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Romando Futebol Clube.
