The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcelinho Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Andrejević, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Luiz Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Teixeira in the 19th minute of the match. If Sten Andrejević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 30 minutes into the match, Karaboudjan's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Andrejević came free, but Marcelinho Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Sten Andrejević had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelinho Abraão. Karaboudjan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sten Andrejević was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of ROSÁRIO SPORT booed when Karaboudjan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Basarov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelinho Abraão came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by ROSÁRIO SPORT's Sten Andrejević. But to his dismay, Sten Andrejević quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 40th minute Sten Andrejević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernandinho Albuquerque to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Sten Andrejević dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcelinho Abraão, 0-5. After having played for 96 minutes, Tony Dionísio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ROSÁRIO SPORT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Dionísio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Karaboudjan supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ROSÁRIO SPORT's performance. The match ended with a win for ROSÁRIO SPORT.
