Arlindo Silveira started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andy Cole in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Biagio Furino saved Paraná Clube Brasil from getting behind. Biagio Furino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andy Cole's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. The audience was convinced that Andy Cole's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Biagio Furino was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Floresta Negra FC were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Paraná Clube Brasil's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jerzy Zjawin took the corner. Floresta Negra FC's Lokon Pøhl was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Biagio Furino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Andy Cole could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Biagio Furino made a huge save. After 12 minutes Paraná Clube Brasil's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jerzy Zjawin who took care of the corner kick. Jerzy Zjawin made a great header on Floresta Negra FC's corner, it was just that Paraná Clube Brasil's Biagio Furino managed to reach the ball for a save. Pedro Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Andy Cole shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Furino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Giovani Batista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paraná Clube Brasil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Biagio Furino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andy Cole showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 24 minute of play. Biagio Furino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Cole in the 27th minute of the match. Pedro Carvalho charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Carvalho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andy Cole might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Biagio Furino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andy Cole ran back to his position shaking his head. Biagio Furino made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Andy Cole sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute Jerzy Zjawin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Furino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andy Cole's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Biagio Furino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute Andy Cole shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Furino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Paraná Clube Brasil's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Cole came free, but Biagio Furino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Floresta Negra FC's Jerzy Zjawin to fire away a dangerous shot which Biagio Furino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 44th minute, Andy Cole reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Biagio Furino. The goal made the score 2-1. Aílton Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Floresta Negra FC made a substitution. Vivaldo Amorim replaced Vânderson Vale. The supporters of Floresta Negra FC booed when Paraná Clube Brasil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aílton Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andy Cole made a kick off. In the 55th minute of the match Floresta Negra FC got a corner. Paraná Clube Brasil's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jerzy Zjawin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Floresta Negra FC's Jerzy Zjawin got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paraná Clube Brasil's goalkeeper Biagio Furino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Paraná Clube Brasil defense, Andy Cole kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Biagio Furino. The Paraná Clube Brasil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Biagio Furino should have stopped the shot. Biagio Furino came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Floresta Negra FC's Jardel Lewandowski. But to his dismay, Jardel Lewandowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Biagio Furino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Zjawin in the 78th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Jerzy Zjawin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Biagio Furino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Floresta Negra FC's Arturo Vidal was substituted for Hector Bazkoare. Jardel Lewandowski struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Biagio Furino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floresta Negra FC. Jardel Lewandowski scored 6-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Biagio Furino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Biagio Furino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Lewandowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Jardel Lewandowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Biagio Furino was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. The Floresta Negra FC fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Floresta Negra FC's Jardel Lewandowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jardel Lewandowski scored 9-1 in the 99th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Biagio Furino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Floresta Negra FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Paraná Clube Brasil for a fine match.
