Gunnar Ekeroth started the match with the kick off. Floresta Negra FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jerzy Zjawin in the 4th minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Andy Cole advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-0 in the 5th minute. Andy Cole could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but George Buffon made a huge save. Kléber Barral made in the 18th minute of the game a quick throw-in and George Grealish immediately put the ball in play. The crowd rose to their feet as Andy Cole kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving George Buffon. That made the score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Andy Cole's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Buffon was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Andy Cole's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Floresta Negra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vânderson Vale to maneuver through the defense. Egun Pais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Ekeroth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Three Lions FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Kléber Barral hit a great ball. Andy Cole received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. George Buffon came out and tried to block the shot, but Andy Cole slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 36th minute. Kléber Barral made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Floresta Negra FC's Clemente Moura. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Zjawin in the 41st minute of play forced Three Lions FC's goalkeeper George Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andy Cole struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. George Buffon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floresta Negra FC. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andy Cole made a kick off. In the 55th minute of the match Floresta Negra FC got a corner. Three Lions FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jerzy Zjawin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Andy Cole got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 4-0. 55 minutes into the match. Floresta Negra FC's Egun Pais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kajetan Filanowski in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Floresta Negra FC booed when Three Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Grealish didn't get a good kick on the ball. Floresta Negra FC's Jardel Lewandowski was substituted for Andy Cole. After a rather tough play, Three Lions FC's George Grealish got a free kick in the 65th minute. George Buffon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jardel Lewandowski went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Floresta Negra FC's Arturo Vidal was substituted for Hector Bazkoare. In the 81st match minute, Floresta Negra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alto Muro to maneuver through the defense. George Grealish might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egun Pais. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. George Grealish ran back to his position shaking his head. 86 minutes into the match, Kajetan Filanowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egun Pais. Floresta Negra FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kajetan Filanowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. 93 minutes into the game, George De Bruyne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Three Lions FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Floresta Negra FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Three Lions FC's George De Bruyne got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the referee ended the match the Floresta Negra FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
