The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, MarineerS FK's Žydrūnas Pauža sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Szymon Erland narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Szymon Erland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Žydrūnas Pauža in the 6th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that John Antolin got away a dangerous shot. Szymon Erland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witalis Kornaszewski in the 30th minute of play forced MarineerS FK's goalkeeper Tayfun Tanfer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Szymon Erland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mecnun Seha in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind MarineerS FK's goalkeeper Tayfun Tanfer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Szymon Erland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Žydrūnas Pauža in the 41st minute of play. MILAN's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lukasz Marchefka in the 45th minute. Lukasz Marchefka made a great header on MILAN's corner, it was just that MarineerS FK's Tayfun Tanfer managed to reach the ball for a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

MILAN's Szymon Erland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Rundell in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 minutes MILAN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was John Antolin who took care of the corner kick. Witalis Kornaszewski kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Patryk Jarmulowicz's late challenge caught a MarineerS FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patryk Jarmulowicz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute, Patryk Jarmulowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Ján Novák notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of MILAN's Szymon Erland. Szymon Erland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 86th minute, but Szymon Erland got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving MILAN hanging dry this time. In the 89th minute, MarineerS FK's Davide Tonon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Szymon Erland. Szymon Erland yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. MarineerS FK's Davide Tonon got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Szymon Erland came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by MarineerS FK's Ján Novák. But to his dismay, Ján Novák quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.
