If Stefan Ciemiega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serter Usal in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henri-Patrick De Mare prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the San Marino İdman Yurdu defense, Gabríel Vassaras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Necdet Secavend. The San Marino İdman Yurdu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Necdet Secavend should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 17 in the game by Gabríel Vassaras from a close distance when the talented Ahmet Necdet Secavend managed to make a qualified save. San Marino İdman Yurdu's players were relieved. Ahmet Necdet Secavend took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabríel Vassaras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led to Vc Brye's Fox 鲁迅 getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Fox 鲁迅 put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ahmet Necdet Secavend. Ahmet Necdet Secavend made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Gabríel Vassaras sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th match minute, San Marino İdman Yurdu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Emre Aktan to maneuver through the defense. San Marino İdman Yurdu's Ahmet Necdet Secavend played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabríel Vassaras in the 37th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabríel Vassaras got free with Ahmet Necdet Secavend in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ercole Mirto came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the San Marino İdman Yurdu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ercole Mirto couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabríel Vassaras made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, San Marino İdman Yurdu's goal looked a bit too open when Gabríel Vassaras came free, but Ahmet Necdet Secavend reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Comunardo Cianci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Necdet Secavend having to interfere. In the 60th minute Bart-Jan Ablij suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 60 minutes, Ercole Mirto mouthed his way into the referee's book. In the 68thth minute of the game Gabríel Vassaras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Marino İdman Yurdu's Ahmet Necdet Secavend was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
