Teodosio Serapio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Santiago Beltrán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Tajo struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Cayetano Behe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Achtung Babies. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquin Nofre got free with Santiago Beltrán in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diego Tajo scored 0-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cayetano Behe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Achtung Babies's Santiago Beltrán proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Achtung Babies from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodosio Serapio got free with Santiago Beltrán in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, Achtung Babies's goalkeeper Santiago Beltrán had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilberto Inautzi. 45 minutes into the match, Gilberto Inautzi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Achtung Babies's Santiago Beltrán. Santiago Beltrán was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leandro Cordarin to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eleuterio Lamberto got free with Cayetano Behe in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Achtung Babies's Diego Tajo got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eleuterio Lamberto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Cayetano Behe made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Gilberto Inautzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santiago Beltrán was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
