In the 4th minute, Mauricio Jurdan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute, Nicanor Fanuco made a precise shot to the right of Jonas Brion. Simbo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a little luck, Las Palmas's Lucas Federigo got control of the ball when Nair Galarza tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th minute, Diego Mikelats ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Brion was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 16th minute, Victoriano Banegas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lucas Federigo. The goal made the score 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Sein in the 21st minute of play forced Simbo FC's goalkeeper Jonas Brion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Diego Mikelats cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Jonas Brion was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lucas Federigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nair Galarza in the 33rd minute of play. Lucas Federigo made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Victoriano Banegas sent off a good shot on target. Lucas Federigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Mouricio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoriano Banegas took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas Federigo. Lucas Federigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. 47 minutes into the match, Las Palmas's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Mouricio came free, but Lucas Federigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 3-3 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 52nd minute, Victoriano Banegas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Federigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. In the 62nd minute Simbo FC were awarded a corner. Tiburcio Enetz went to the cornerflag to take it. Simbo FC's Tiburcio Enetz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lucas Federigo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 63rd minute, Las Palmas's Diego Mikelats dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Victoriano Banegas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Simbo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victoriano Banegas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Federigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 68 played minutes Simbo FC got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Jurdan. Marco Bidun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Jonas Brion made a huge save. With 77 minutes on the clock, Lane Rhoades commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 76th minute, one of Simbo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Simbo FC. The referee gave Las Palmas a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Benedicto Platon, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Simbo FC's Jonas Brion. 4-5. After a rather tough play, Las Palmas's Nicanor Fanuco got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Simbo FC's Victoriano Banegas got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Federigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Banegas, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Victoriano Banegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 95th minute, Victoriano Banegas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Federigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-5. Simbo FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
