The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Calvino got free with Cayetano Behe in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cachiyuyo EAS's Arnulfo Nataniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Nofre in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquin Nofre in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnulfo Nataniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute, Adolfo Tximitx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's Joaquin Nofre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnulfo Nataniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led Deportivo Balvanera's Severiano Taurino to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnulfo Nataniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Deportivo Balvanera's Diego Milito got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquin Nofre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Nataniel having to interfere. Jacinto Senon hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Alberto Calvino's late challenge caught a Deportivo Balvanera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Calvino helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cachiyuyo EAS's Alberto Calvino got a free kick in the 36th minute. Cachiyuyo EAS's Arnulfo Nataniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Milito in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Nofre in the 43rd minute of play forced Cachiyuyo EAS's goalkeeper Arnulfo Nataniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Senon hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Natalio Laurin to strike the kick off in the second half. After 88 minutes, Arnoldo Weterio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cachiyuyo EAS and the Deportivo Balvanera players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Diego Milito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnulfo Nataniel was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Arnulfo Nataniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Nofre, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Deportivo Balvanera played a much better game than Cachiyuyo EAS and deserved their victory. The Cachiyuyo EAS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
