When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Arsenio Maldonado put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Aureliano Pacifico. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arsenio Maldonado in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aureliano Pacifico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ZORZAL01's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leonel Unai in the 18th minute. A nice corner shot did that Leonel Unai got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aureliano Pacifico quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 19th match minute, ZORZAL01 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Iraunkor to maneuver through the defense. Florentino Demario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Dolfo in the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to ZORZAL01 getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Felipe Iraunkor hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Arsenio Maldonado sped through Academia Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aureliano Pacifico. Aureliano Pacifico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Jakue in the 27th minute of play. Aureliano Pacifico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Jakue, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aureliano Pacifico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arsenio Maldonado's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Joaquin Phelipe's late challenge caught a ZORZAL01's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquin Phelipe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute of the match Leonel Unai shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aureliano Pacifico showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. During the 36th minute of the match Joaquin Phelipe completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Joaquin Phelipe a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 37 played minutes Academia Club got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Phelipe. After 38 played minutes, ZORZAL01's Leonel Unai shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aureliano Pacifico came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ZORZAL01 reached it. Fausto Franco hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute of the match Leonel Unai sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aureliano Pacifico skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Arsenio Maldonado managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZORZAL01's supporters rose to their feet, but Arsenio Maldonado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aureliano Pacifico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46thth minute of the game Silvestre Jakue who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Club's Aureliano Pacifico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half ZORZAL01 were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Arsenio Maldonado made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Arsenio Maldonado lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Aureliano Pacifico. Aureliano Pacifico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Jakue in the 58th minute of play. Arsenio Maldonado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Aureliano Pacifico when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With an all-out effort, ZORZAL01's Aureliano Pacifico threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joaquin Lizbeth, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 88 minutes into the match, Silvestre Jakue notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Academia Club's Aureliano Pacifico. Aureliano Pacifico was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Dionisio Dolfo fell near the penalty area in the 99th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Academia Club's protests and gave Dionisio Dolfo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Academia Club getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Dionisio Dolfo hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ZORZAL01 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
