Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ademir Costa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Fletcher Main had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 5 minutes into the match, Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's goal looked a bit too open when Fletcher Main came free, but Sandrinho de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute Nico Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Higgins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Ademir Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ademir Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Higgins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ademir Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Alexander Higgins made a huge save. Walmir Cunha was extremely unlucky when he, in the 12th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 16 minutes, Ademir Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palmitos Futebol Clube SC and the Scotland players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ademir Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. With a little luck, Scotland's Alexander Higgins got control of the ball when Ademir Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Scotland's goal looked a bit too open when Walmir Cunha came free, but Alexander Higgins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ademir Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert McNeill hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Alexander Higgins was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Walmir Cunha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. A collision led to Palmitos Futebol Clube SC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Nico Vaz hit a great ball. Fletcher Main's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandrinho de Senna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Scotland got a freekick which was hit by Jaxson Russell. If Ademir Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Ademir Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexander Higgins was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The supporters of Palmitos Futebol Clube SC booed when Scotland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack MacKinnon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's Ademir Costa shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 40th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alexander Higgins but with some difficulty. When Dinei Gonçalves came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Palmitos Futebol Clube SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinei Gonçalves couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zac O'Donnell to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Ademir Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palmitos Futebol Clube SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 55th minute, Ademir Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexander Higgins was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ademir Costa in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Higgins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexander Higgins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademir Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Alexander Higgins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Mannie in the 66th minute of play. Sandrinho de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zac O'Donnell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Ademir Costa notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Scotland's Alexander Higgins. Alexander Higgins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alexander Higgins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Cunha in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Freddy Mannie notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Scotland's Alexander Higgins. Alexander Higgins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 80 minutes into the match, Luís Eduardo Arce had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexander Higgins. Scotland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Eduardo Arce was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Alexander Higgins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Cunha in the 84th minute of the match. After 85 minutes, Ademir Costa made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Scotland's Alexander Higgins tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Scotland's Alexander Higgins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademir Costa in the 89th minute of play. Alexander Higgins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Cunha in the 97th minute of the match. Alexander Higgins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademir Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademir Costa in the 98th minute of play forced Scotland's goalkeeper Alexander Higgins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
