EL RUBIO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cezary Kasiewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 7th minute Cezary Kasiewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Domínguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of EL RUBIO FC booed when GKS Katowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Werra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th match minute, GKS Katowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wlodzimierz Brytan to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute EL RUBIO FC were awarded a corner. Cerilo Barriga went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Julián Camacho managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 28 played minutes GKS Katowice got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Werra. After 29 minutes, Dominik Brysz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GKS Katowice and the EL RUBIO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GKS Katowice! In the 42nd minute Cezary Kasiewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Domínguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laureano Domínguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucjan Werra in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Lucjan Werra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alcadio Garachena to make the kick off. When Zbyszko Kasiewski fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GKS Katowice's protests and gave Zbyszko Kasiewski a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to GKS Katowice getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Zbyszko Kasiewski hit a great ball. After 57 played minutes GKS Katowice got a freekick which was hit by Wlodzimierz Brytan. The audience was convinced that Alcadio Garachena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Betão Pontes was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Julián Camacho hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Laureano Domínguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezary Kasiewski in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of GKS Katowice booed when EL RUBIO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Pedro Knauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. GKS Katowice made a substitution. Ludomir Zacharek replaced Cezary Kasiewski. After 72 played minutes EL RUBIO FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Pedro Knauer. 73 minutes into the match, Ludomir Zacharek dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Laureano Domínguez, 1-3. Lucjan Werra came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Laureano Domínguez could save by the left post. Lucjan Werra scored 1-4 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laureano Domínguez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute, Florencio Parot made a precise shot to the right of Betão Pontes. GKS Katowice's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Juan Eduardo Montesinos kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Laureano Domínguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludomir Zacharek, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Betão Pontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alcadio Garachena's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute.
