An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Sabrosa in the 9th minute of play forced Västerhaninge IFK's goalkeeper Fred Ahlstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Västerhaninge IFK's Fred Ahlstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Pádua in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Cankut Kapsam notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Västerhaninge IFK's Fred Ahlstedt. Fred Ahlstedt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 15 minutes into the match, Västerhaninge IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Caires came free, but Fred Ahlstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandro Caires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Ahlstedt having to interfere. Vivaldo Santarém stood somewhat misplaced when Anders Vallin came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 23 minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandro Caires in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fred Ahlstedt saved Västerhaninge IFK from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Västerhaninge IFK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! After some careless play in the Västerhaninge IFK defense, Norberto Sabrosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fred Ahlstedt. The Västerhaninge IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fred Ahlstedt should have stopped the shot. Fred Ahlstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Pádua in the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Vargens FC's Sandro Caires nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fred Ahlstedt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Fred Ahlstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Sabrosa in the 42nd minute of the match. Sandro Caires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Ahlstedt having to interfere. The Västerhaninge IFK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vargens FC were winning 1-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivar Elg was the one to do the kick off. Fred Ahlstedt made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Paulo Pádua sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Västerhaninge IFK's Fred Ahlstedt got control of the ball when Norberto Sabrosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ivar Elg's late challenge caught a Vargens FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivar Elg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Västerhaninge IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivar Elg to maneuver through the defense. Ivar Elg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norberto Sabrosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Fred Ahlstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Cankut Kapsam cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Fred Ahlstedt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anders Vallin kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Sandro Caires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Ahlstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vargens FC's Sandro Caires got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Västerhaninge IFK's Fred Ahlstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Västerhaninge IFK from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the match, Norberto Sabrosa notched a goal, 1-8, to the right of Västerhaninge IFK's Fred Ahlstedt. Fred Ahlstedt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anders Vallin struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Vivaldo Santarém didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Västerhaninge IFK. Anders Vallin took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vivaldo Santarém. Vivaldo Santarém dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-8. After a defensive mix-up in Västerhaninge IFK's zone, Norberto Sabrosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fred Ahlstedt came out of the goal and Norberto Sabrosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Västerhaninge IFK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vargens FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
