After a rather tough play, stal sanok's Gilbert Lukasik got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Stanislaw Majczyk kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilbert Lukasik during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to stal sanok getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Gilbert Lukasik hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as stal sanok's Daniel Banan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Róbert Jurčák. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. 18 minutes into the match, stal sanok's Ryszard Lamczyk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Róbert Jurčák narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the stal sanok defense, Matúš Hrabovský kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bartlomiej Betonowy. The stal sanok fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bartlomiej Betonowy should have stopped the shot. When Matej Egl fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lada FK's protests and gave Matej Egl a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Lada FK's Matej Egl got a free kick in the 25th minute. Gilbert Lukasik received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Róbert Jurčák came out and tried to block the shot, but Gilbert Lukasik slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 28th minute. With a little luck, Lada FK's Róbert Jurčák got control of the ball when Gilbert Lukasik tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, stal sanok's goal looked a bit too open when Matej Egl came free, but Bartlomiej Betonowy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Matúš Hrabovský left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lada FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Bartlomiej Betonowy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matej Egl in the 39th minute of the match. Róbert Jurčák didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ryszard Lamczyk went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 44th match minute, Lada FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanislav Čársky to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matej Egl in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bartlomiej Betonowy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matej Egl in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartlomiej Betonowy saved stal sanok from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The wind increased when Tibor Čapo made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by stal sanok's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Richard Ivanič was slow to take the kick. During this time Lada FK's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Lada FK's corner Richard Ivanič fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bartlomiej Betonowy quite easily take care of the ball. stal sanok's Gilbert Lukasik got his second yellow card of the match in the 54th minute. The referee ordered Gilbert Lukasik off the ground. Bartlomiej Betonowy made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Ján Lapač sent off a good shot on target. Stanislav Čársky charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stanislav Čársky the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bartlomiej Betonowy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matej Egl in the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, stal sanok's goal looked a bit too open when Tibor Čapo came free, but Bartlomiej Betonowy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute of the match Lada FK got a corner. stal sanok's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Richard Ivanič ran over to the corner to take the kick. Stanislaw Majczyk tried in the game's 73rd match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Bartlomiej Betonowy. An annoying self made goal, 3-3. Bartlomiej Betonowy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stanislav Hanzel went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. Bartlomiej Betonowy was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Ján Lapač capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ján Lapač really showed his touch with that goal: 3-5. 82 minutes into the game, stal sanok's Ryszard Lamczyk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Róbert Jurčák made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-5. Edward Wawro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edward Wawro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Róbert Jurčák tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ryszard Lamczyk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Róbert Jurčák having to make a save. The Lada FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lada FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
