Betão Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Sjödin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucjan Werra succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 78th playminute. GKS Katowice made a substitution. Ludomir Zacharek replaced Cezary Kasiewski. Birger Axelsson hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Ludomir Zacharek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GKS Katowice played a much better game than FC Korsband and deserved their victory. The FC Korsband players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
