Ryszard Lamczyk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Fred Ahlstedt made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Patryk Andrysiak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fred Ahlstedt was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Patryk Andrysiak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Fred Ahlstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ryszard Lamczyk hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 14 minutes, Zachariasz Hendzel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the stal sanok and the Västerhaninge IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th match minute, stal sanok was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachariasz Hendzel to maneuver through the defense. Västerhaninge IFK's Fred Ahlstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Västerhaninge IFK from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Västerhaninge IFK booed when stal sanok was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patryk Andrysiak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 37 played minutes Västerhaninge IFK got a freekick which was hit by Kristoffer Borre. stal sanok's Bartlomiej Betonowy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Blomberg in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivar Elg to make the kick off. Bartlomiej Betonowy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Blomberg in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, stal sanok's Gilbert Lukasik got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Fred Ahlstedt came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by stal sanok's Ryszard Lamczyk. But to his dismay, Ryszard Lamczyk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After having played for 59 minutes, Ryszard Lamczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. stal sanok's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryszard Lamczyk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. stal sanok's Bartlomiej Betonowy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Vallin in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, stal sanok was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanislaw Majczyk to maneuver through the defense. Kristoffer Borre's late challenge caught a stal sanok's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kristoffer Borre helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Västerhaninge IFK getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Kristoffer Borre hit a great ball. Gilbert Lukasik hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Västerhaninge IFK's Gunnar Blomberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Bartlomiej Betonowy made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Ivar Elg sent off a good shot on target. Västerhaninge IFK's Fred Ahlstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patryk Andrysiak in the 89th minute of play. Bartlomiej Betonowy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anders Vallin in the 92nd minute of the match. After 93 played minutes Västerhaninge IFK got a freekick which was hit by Kristoffer Borre. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The stal sanok fans cheered their team off the field, for while Västerhaninge IFK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
