When Tibor Čapo came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Lada FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tibor Čapo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dezider Šedivý in the 6th minute of play forced Itapiciru EC's goalkeeper Válbson Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matej Egl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válbson Rossi having to interfere. Róbert Jurčák took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúl Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Lada FK's Dezider Šedivý sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Válbson Rossi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Dorian Neves fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Róbert Jurčák, passed just outside the right post. Itapiciru EC's Válbson Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dezider Šedivý in the 27th minute of play. Raúl Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Róbert Jurčák having to interfere. If Dorian Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Tibor Čapo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Válbson Rossi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dorian Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Róbert Jurčák having to interfere. When Matej Egl fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lada FK's protests and gave Matej Egl a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Matej Egl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matej Egl was shown his second yellow card after 66 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 66th match minute, Lada FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matej Egl to maneuver through the defense. After 77 played minutes Lada FK got a freekick which was hit by Stanislav Hanzel. After 79 minutes of play, Itapiciru EC's Dorian Neves made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Róbert Jurčák was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Tibor Čapo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Faustão Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Tibor Čapo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lada FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Lada FK's Tibor Čapo got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Itapiciru EC's Válbson Rossi got control of the ball when Tibor Čapo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 95 minutes, Dezider Šedivý mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lada FK and the Itapiciru EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Lada FK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Itapiciru EC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
