Da Nang's players were relieved. 16 minutes into the match, Anders Vallin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nguyễn Nam, 2-1. Da Nang's Nguyễn Nam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Vallin in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Anders Vallin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ivar Elg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Västerhaninge IFK getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Emanuel Eklund hit a great ball. Fred Ahlstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Đinh Huỳnh in the 43rd minute of the match. Ivar Elg might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nguyễn Nam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivar Elg ran back to his position shaking his head. Nguyễn Nam made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Ivar Elg sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Fred Ahlstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phạm Hanh in the 53rd minute of the match. Nguyễn Nam didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Västerhaninge IFK's Ivar Elg shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, Da Nang's Đinh Huỳnh got a free kick in the 58th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Anders Vallin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Nguyễn Nam was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ivar Elg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Nguyễn Nam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Đinh Huỳnh got free with Fred Ahlstedt in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Phạm Hanh received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fred Ahlstedt came out and tried to block the shot, but Phạm Hanh slotted it home off the left post making it 5-2 in the 71st minute. Västerhaninge IFK's Fred Ahlstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phạm Hanh in the 74th minute of play. With a little luck, Västerhaninge IFK's Fred Ahlstedt got control of the ball when Đinh Huỳnh tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nguyễn Nam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Vallin in the 78th minute of play. Västerhaninge IFK's Fred Ahlstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Västerhaninge IFK from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivar Elg in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nguyễn Nam saved Da Nang from getting behind. If Ivar Elg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivar Elg during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nguyễn Nam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivar Elg went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. Anders Vallin struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Nguyễn Nam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Västerhaninge IFK. Ivar Elg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nguyễn Nam having to make a save. In the 94th minute Anders Vallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Nam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Västerhaninge IFK had won after a very even match.
