The referee ignored Vargens FC's protests and gave Diamantino Marques a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vargens FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Diamantino Marques hit a great ball. After 24 minutes of play, Vargens FC's Sandro Caires made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Róbert Jurčák was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paulo Pádua charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Pádua the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paulo Pádua hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Vivaldo Santarém showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislav Hanzel in the 42nd minute of the match. Dezider Šedivý could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Vivaldo Santarém made a huge save. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dezider Šedivý to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Lada FK's zone, Sandro Caires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Róbert Jurčák came out of the goal and Sandro Caires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vivaldo Santarém took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dezider Šedivý, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Matej Egl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vivaldo Santarém was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. A collision led to Lada FK getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Stanislav Hanzel hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandro Caires got free with Róbert Jurčák in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lada FK's Michal Kelemen pulled a muscle in his back after 67 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 67 minutes into the game, Nuno Arruda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After a rather tough play, Lada FK's Ján Farbák got a free kick in the 91st minute. Vargens FC played a much better game than Lada FK and deserved their victory. The Lada FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
