Despite this Kıvanç Yücesan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 13 minutes into the match, AC Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when David Moya came free, but Rosendo Balesio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rosendo Balesio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argyris Zagorakis in the 15th minute of the match. Rosendo Balesio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvinho Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes of play, SC Pfullendorf's Argyris Zagorakis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rosendo Balesio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kıvanç Yücesan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Aznaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Humberto Beturian lost his temper 30 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 29 minutes into the game, one of AC Rangers:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. SC Pfullendorf's Kıvanç Yücesan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Basajaun in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Adrian Ibar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Pfullendorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Ibar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Argyris Zagorakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Rosendo Balesio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rosendo Balesio came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Pfullendorf's Argyris Zagorakis. But to his dismay, Argyris Zagorakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 45th match minute, SC Pfullendorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veto Harroyo to maneuver through the defense. After 48 played minutes SC Pfullendorf got a freekick which was hit by Veto Harroyo. AC Rangers made a substitution. Yücel Özakıncı replaced Guido Ler. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yücel Özakıncı stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to AC Rangers getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Emiliano Aznaro hit a great ball. In the 55th minute of the match David Moya sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rosendo Balesio skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Argyris Zagorakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Pfullendorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Argyris Zagorakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosendo Balesio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rosendo Balesio stood somewhat misplaced when Argyris Zagorakis came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 59 minute. SC Pfullendorf's Czeslaw Wallach was substituted for Adrian Ibar. Kıvanç Yücesan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yücel Özakıncı in the 65th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, 彭森银 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Rosendo Balesio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SC Pfullendorf's attentive Czeslaw Wallach managed to snatch the ball when Fabricio Quexal made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. In the 80th match minute, AC Rangers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Aznaro to maneuver through the defense. AC Rangers made a substitution. The AC Rangers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SC Pfullendorf were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
