After 73 minutes of play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Lars Oliver Dorn made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Günther Heiß was left in no man's land by his defense there! Halil Winskowsky could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Günther Heiß made a huge save. Johann Scheuerer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedikt Altpeter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With splendid footwork Simeon Plank arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-5 by the left pole in the game's 84th minute. FC Traktor Götz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rot-Weiss-Essen the free kick.
