Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Halil Winskowsky made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Valentin Plopșor managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C.BARLAD's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Plopșor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johann Scheuerer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Plopșor in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johann Scheuerer saved Rot-Weiss-Essen from getting behind. Sebastian Manafu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Halil Winskowsky in the 15th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Rot-Weiss-Essen got a freekick which was hit by Lars Oliver Dorn. After 20th play minutes Valentin Plopșor shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Johann Scheuerer and just under the crossbar into goal. Sascha Andre Rennert charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sascha Andre Rennert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sascha Andre Rennert hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. F.C.BARLAD's Florin Racoviceanu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 25th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Johann Scheuerer but with some difficulty. Sebastian Manafu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Oliver Dorn, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. F.C.BARLAD's Valentin Plopșor managed to work through Rot-Weiss-Essen's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Valentin Plopșor dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Valentin Plopșor let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 37th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. Halil Winskowsky kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute F.C.BARLAD were awarded a corner. Florin Racoviceanu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Florin Racoviceanu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rot-Weiss-Essen's Johann Scheuerer did a great save. Halil Winskowsky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Manafu having to interfere. Valentin Plopșor's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Johann Scheuerer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The supporters of F.C.BARLAD booed when Rot-Weiss-Essen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Oliver Dorn didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, F.C.BARLAD's Tiberiu Pitiș got a free kick in the 57th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Lars Oliver Dorn recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sebastian Manafu. Lars Oliver Dorn showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Valentin Plopșor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 69th minute F.C.BARLAD were awarded a corner. Florin Racoviceanu went to the cornerflag to take it. When F.C.BARLAD's Valentin Plopșor in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalie prevented a goal. 76 minutes into the match, Rot-Weiss-Essen's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Simionescu came free, but Johann Scheuerer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentin Plopșor in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johann Scheuerer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Sven Börger fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rot-Weiss-Essen's protests and gave Sven Börger a yellow card for diving instead. Halil Winskowsky hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Florin Racoviceanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th match minute, Rot-Weiss-Essen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Oliver Dorn to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute of the match Florin Racoviceanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johann Scheuerer skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Rot-Weiss-Essen booed when F.C.BARLAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octav Ţintea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johann Scheuerer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Simionescu in the 93rd minute of the match.
