Johann Scheuerer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Justo Torres showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. The NECKER49 fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when NECKER49's Justo Torres looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Johann Scheuerer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justo Torres's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. The supporters of Rot-Weiss-Essen booed when NECKER49 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Lauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute of the match Sascha Andre Rennert shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raimundo Ramone showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 26 played minutes NECKER49 got a freekick which was hit by Justino Manex. A collision led to Rot-Weiss-Essen getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Simeon Plank hit a great ball. NECKER49's Constantino Miro got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Johann Scheuerer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Miro in the 33rd minute of the match. Johann Scheuerer made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Justo Torres sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Rot-Weiss-Essen's zone, Justo Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johann Scheuerer came out of the goal and Justo Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Angelo Wesseling charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Wesseling the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. NECKER49's Carolo Errolan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rot-Weiss-Essen. After a rather tough play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Angelo Wesseling got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Arbo Sachs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of NECKER49 booed when Rot-Weiss-Essen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Börger didn't get a good kick on the ball. NECKER49's Joaquin Brais was substituted for Constantino Miro. In the 73rd minute, Lars Oliver Dorn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Pablo Flor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NECKER49 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Joaquin Brais put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Johann Scheuerer. Johann Scheuerer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Flor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
