But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesare Punta couldn't finish the play. Urbano Saturnin made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Dariusz Wos sent off a good shot on target. Pierrot Leenpoels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Støle having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pierrot Leenpoels was the one to do the kick off. Urbano Saturnin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludwig Wassenius in the 55th minute of the match. Sao Brasola's Urbano Saturnin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludwig Wassenius in the 56th minute of play. Urbano Saturnin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dariusz Wos's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Sao Brasola made a substitution. Patagonia got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Atarrabi. Cido da Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Nils Støle made a huge save.
