Arturo Di Matteo might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joar Frisck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arturo Di Matteo ran back to his position shaking his head. 4 minutes into the match, FC NORDLAND's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Di Matteo came free, but Joar Frisck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the FC NORDLAND defense, Arturo Di Matteo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joar Frisck. The FC NORDLAND fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joar Frisck should have stopped the shot. 10 minutes into the game, FC NORDLAND's Andreas Hernaiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felix Ivarsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 15 minutes into the match, FC NORDLAND's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Di Matteo came free, but Joar Frisck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Bautista Baumgartner in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Calenzano's Yaniusky Pardo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arturo Di Matteo in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joar Frisck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arturo Di Matteo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joar Frisck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Di Matteo in the 29th minute of the match. Joar Frisck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Di Matteo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Di Matteo in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joar Frisck saved FC NORDLAND from getting behind. After 36 played minutes FC NORDLAND got a freekick which was hit by Odd Ball. Calenzano's Achille Sciamanna managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bautista Baumgartner in the 41 minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andreas Hernaiz to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hjalmar Pettersson in the 53rd minute of play forced Calenzano's goalkeeper Felix Ivarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC NORDLAND's Buba Breitner got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC NORDLAND's goalkeeper Joar Frisck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 56 played minutes FC NORDLAND got a freekick which was hit by Hjalmar Pettersson. Arturo Di Matteo struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Joar Frisck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calenzano. After a rather tough play, Calenzano's Achille Sciamanna got a free kick in the 59th minute. Calenzano's Alessandro Giocondo was substituted for Yaniusky Pardo. Calenzano's Ennio Daniele was substituted for Alessio Santini. Achille Sciamanna kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 66th minute Andreas Hernaiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Ivarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Andreas Hernaiz came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the FC NORDLAND fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andreas Hernaiz couldn't finish the play. Joar Frisck was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Quinto Ampudia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 75 minute of play. FC NORDLAND's Angelillo Di Maria was substituted for Hjalmar Pettersson. FC NORDLAND made a substitution. Ervin Frk replaced Benno Betancor. Andreas Hernaiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Ivarsson having to interfere. After 82 minutes, Buba Breitner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC NORDLAND and the Calenzano players grew even worse after the yellow card. Buba Breitner hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Calenzano's Quinto Ampudia got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC NORDLAND's Buba Breitner got a free kick in the 91st minute. Joar Frisck made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Quinto Ampudia sent off a good shot on target. The Calenzano players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
