The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Urbano Saturnin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Atarrabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sao Brasola's Pierrot Leenpoels came free and shot a quick shot against goal 8 minutes in the game, fortunately Vitaliy Vischak had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Gică Aristide advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-0 in the 10th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Sao Brasola's goal looked a bit too open when Adrián Espadas came free, but Urbano Saturnin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Camillo Galeone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urbano Saturnin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrián Espadas, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cesare Punta got free with Vitaliy Vischak in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vitaliy Vischak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pierrot Leenpoels in the 27th minute. Adrián Espadas might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Urbano Saturnin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adrián Espadas ran back to his position shaking his head. Pierrot Leenpoels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urbano Saturnin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrián Espadas, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Soroca F.C.'s Vitaliy Vischak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesare Punta in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrián Espadas in the 43rd minute of play forced Sao Brasola's goalkeeper Urbano Saturnin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Zézinho Neiva fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soroca F.C.'s protests and gave Zézinho Neiva a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sao Brasola booed when Soroca F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zézinho Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Sao Brasola's Georges-Philippe Coussement got a free kick in the 47th minute. Gustavo Tartalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The throw-in from Camillo Galeone in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Soroca F.C.'s Natalio Mazuste. Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Sao Brasola booed when Soroca F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Mazuste didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sao Brasola made a substitution. Carter Di Fazio replaced Pierrot Leenpoels. In the 69th match minute, Soroca F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Mazuste to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Carter Di Fazio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sao Brasola fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Anthony Barbato kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Vitaliy Vischak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cesare Punta went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Vitaliy Vischak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Di Vincenzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Cesare Punta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitaliy Vischak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sao Brasola's Urbano Saturnin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Necula in the 86th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Bruno Peca threw the ball into play from the sideline. Soroca F.C.'s Cyprien Combaz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Soroca F.C.'s Vitaliy Vischak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesare Punta in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Cesare Punta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sao Brasola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesare Punta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sao Brasola fans cheered their team off the field, for while Soroca F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
