Iker Casillas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Flecken in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iker Casillas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amedeo Piermattei scored 0-2 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iker Casillas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute, Anfilogino Trombatore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fortunato Marra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iker Casillas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Amedeo Piermattei scored 0-3 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iker Casillas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Villa Gordiani's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugo Flecken was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Flecken in the 30th minute of play forced Villa Gordiani's goalkeeper Iker Casillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iker Casillas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amedeo Piermattei's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. 43 minutes into the game, Hugo Flecken cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Iker Casillas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 47 minutes into the match, Villa Gordiani's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Flecken came free, but Iker Casillas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Arrigo Marrone struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Josué Rego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa Gordiani. When Zola Predosa FC's Amedeo Piermattei in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Josué Rego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anfilogino Trombatore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Iker Casillas managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Zola Predosa FC's Hugo Flecken fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cosimo Sciamannas short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Iker Casillas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Villa Gordiani getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Franco Cacciatore hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the game, Hugo Flecken recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iker Casillas. Hugo Flecken showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Flecken got free with Iker Casillas in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Villa Gordiani supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Zola Predosa FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Zola Predosa FC.
